Frequently asked questions
What are your fees?
Initial screening assessments are usually carried out over two sessions, the first in-person and the follow-up online, to conduct a parent only interview. You may be asked to complete some questionnaires. We will then provide a summary report with recommendations. The fee is £450. This is not covered by health insurance.
Subsequent self-pay sessions are £150 per session. For authorised insurance claims, the fee varies depending on provider.
What specific neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions do you support?
Sara Pearlman specialises in providing interventions for a range of neurodevelopmental conditions. Our team is experienced in supporting children, young people, and their families following diagnoses such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Anxiety, Depression, OCD, PTSD and adjustment to medical conditions.
How long does a typical intervention process take?
The duration of an intervention varies significantly depending on the individual needs of the child and family, as well as the complexity of the condition. We will discuss a personalised plan with you during your initial consultation, outlining expected timelines and review points to ensure the best outcomes.
How do I know if my child needs help now?
We understand that deciding to seek support is a significant step. We strive to create a welcoming, safe, and confidential environment where your child and family can feel comfortable. Feel free to reach out for a free telephone call to discuss prior to booking an appointment.
How do I book an initial consultation for my child?
To book an initial consultation, please get in touch with us directly. You can call us, email us , or fill out the contact form on our website. We'll then arrange a convenient time to discuss your needs and how we can best support your family.
Can parents or guardians be involved in the therapy sessions?
Absolutely. Parental involvement is often a crucial component of successful interventions for children and young people. We believe in a collaborative approach, and sessions may include parents, guardians, or even other family members as appropriate, depending on the child's needs and the therapeutic goals.
